Hey, lovely people! It's Fafa here, and I'm taking a moment to reflect on why braiding is more than just a skill or a business for me – it's a part of my story, my healing, and my family's legacy.

Braiding Found Me 💖

I often say braiding chose me, and it's true. It came easy, and I effortlessly learned and adopted new skills and techniques. But what it did for me goes deeper. Braiding calmed me down, healed me, and connected me to my roots.

A Family Tradition đŸ‘©â€đŸ‘§â€đŸ‘Š

Growing up, I was surrounded by family members who were skilled in hair braiding and natural hair nurturing. My late aunty, who raised me from age 3 to 9, would lovingly braid my hair. Later, my uncle's wife, who had a salon, trained me to do her hair as she slept. These moments weren't just about learning a skill – they were about bonding, love, and passing down a tradition.

Honoring My Roots 🌿

Throughout my life, natural hair care and braiding have been a source of income for my family. Now, I'm honored to continue this mission, and grateful for technology, which has allowed me to share my family's legacy and craft with the world.

A Legacy of Love 💕

Braiding isn't just what I do; it's who I am. It's a part of my story, my family's story, and the love we've shared. I'm grateful for this journey and excited to keep sharing it with you all.
